Hannah

Hannah England started Rebel Rose Salon & Co to create a space that blends artistry, passion, and community.

From the start, she was captivated by the transformative power of hair. Early in her career, Hannah found herself immersed in the editorial world, working Fashion Week in Denver and LA, styling hair for music videos, and having her work featured in SD Voyager Magazine and Urban Outfitters. She became the lead stylist for a bestselling curly hair tutorial book, sold globally, which cemented her as a go-to expert for curly hair care.

After making the move to San Diego, Hannah took her craft to the next level, diving deep into precision haircutting and the artistry of color. Her love for education led her to train with some of the biggest names in the industry: Toni & Guy, Vidal Sassoon, Nine Zero One Salon, Dom Dom, Michelle Zeller, Aveda, and more.

She’s always seeking out the latest trends and techniques to keep her skills sharp and fresh. But what really fuels her is the ability to share that knowledge—whether it’s through teaching other stylists or leading by example in her salon.

Kelly joined Rebel Rose Salon & Co to bring her love of natural texture, dimensional vibrant lived-in color, and effortless cuts into a space rooted in artistry and intention. With over 15 years of experience behind the chair, Kelly blends technical skill with a thoughtful, intuitive approach to hair.

Her journey began on the East Coast, training at Paul Mitchell in Rhode Island. After assisting outside of Boston and working in a thriving Rhode Island salon, Kelly made her way to San Diego, where she quickly found a home among some of the city’s most creative stylists. She’s studied advanced razor cutting with Jayne Matthews, R+Co, Davines Pro, and Vidal Sassoon Academy, and received specialized training in curly hair from industry specialists—which shaped her signature approach to lived-in layers, shags, and textured shapes.

Kelly’s color work centers around hair painting and balayage to create soft, dimensional tones that enhance natural beauty and grow out seamlessly. Along with bright beachy blondes and dimensional brunettes, she has a deep rooted passion for coppers and redheads. Her passion for clean beauty has made her a go-to for clients seeking healthier color options. She is always searching for and trying the latest available technologies from top brands, with experience in lines such as Davines, Original Mineral, Alterego, Kevin Murphy, Evo hair, and R+Color (just to name a few faves). 

She and Hannah first met during a yoga teacher training in 2019 and later worked as stylists together in La Jolla. Now, they’re thrilled to reunite at Rebel Rose—bringing together their shared love of hair, wellness, and creative community in a space built for both connection and craft.
